We have an urgent opportunity for Sales/ Account Manager (BFSI Domain) position with a Leading global provider of business decisioning data and analytics
Role Summary:
The role focuses on developing business opportunities across the Capital Markets and Financial Services segment, particularly IPO-bound and listed companies, investment banks, and financial institutions.
It involves leveraging DRHP and market intelligence, building relationships with senior stakeholders, managing the end-to-end business cycle, and driving sustainable client and revenue growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and develop new business opportunities by prospecting companies planning IPOs, capital market transactions, and regulatory filings through DRHP analysis and market intelligence.
- Engage with Promoters, CFOs, Investment Bankers, Merchant Bankers, and C-suite stakeholders to pitch DRHP, IPO intelligence, industry research, due diligence, and compliance solutions.
- Own the complete sales cycle from lead generation and opportunity identification through proposal submission, negotiation, and final service delivery.
- Participate in capital market, investment banking, and IPO-focused events as part of client acquisition and business development initiatives.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by tracking upcoming IPOs, DRHP filings, and corporate fund-raising activities.
- Map assigned accounts and cultivate strong relationships with listed companies, IPO-bound firms, investment banks, and financial institutions to generate repeat business.
- Ensure accurate reporting of sales activities, pipeline updates, and client engagements while adhering to organizational compliance and governance standards.
Sales Co-ordination:
- Ensures process adherence at all times for error free timely delivery of projects.
- Liaises with the operations team for a smooth delivery of the end product and ensuring the service expectations of the customers are met.
- Maintains data / client contact details in appropriate data warehouses hygienically.
- Files Progress Reviews and Forecasting Reports periodically as required by the Management.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- MBA with a specialization in Finance or Marketing.
- 8 to 10 years of relevant post-MBA experience, preferably in new business development, corporate client relationship management, consulting, or advisory.
- Strong understanding of Trade Finance and other banking products would be an advantage.
- Prior experience in Credit Ratings, Consulting, Advisory, or related financial services is preferred.
- Good knowledge of Investment Banking, Merchant Banking, NBFCs, Capital Markets, and broader Financial Services products and services.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Sound business acumen, with an awareness of current economic, industry, and market developments.
- Strong stakeholder management, relationship-building, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel as required for business needs.
