We have an urgent opportunity for Regional Product Sales Manager (Power generation/ Heavy machinery/ Renewable energy) position for a leading manufacturer of diesel engines and generator sets for all residential and commercial usage
Position Overview
We are looking for a strategic and high-energy Regional Product Sales Manager to lead our expansion into the alternative fuel power generation market.
As the world shifts toward sustainable energy, you will be the spearhead for our PNG, LNG, LPG, Hydrogen, Biogas etc. genset portfolios.
Your mission is to bridge the gap between complex engineering solutions and regional market needs, driving revenue growth by converting traditional diesel users to cleaner, more efficient alternative fuel technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Regional Market Expansion: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to penetrate key sectors (Data Centers, Industrial Plants, Mining, Utilities etc.) within your assigned territory.
- Product Advocacy: Act as the subject matter expert on alternative fuel technology, articulating the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and environmental benefits (ESG) to C-suite stakeholders.
- Pipeline Management: Identify, qualify, and close high-value projects, managing the full sales cycle from initial technical consultation to final commissioning.
- Channel & Partner Management: Train and support regional dealers and distributors to ensure they are equipped to sell and service alternative fuel equipment.
- Technical Liaison: Collaborate with the Engineering and Product teams to provide “voice of the customer” feedback, ensuring our product roadmap aligns with regional regulatory requirements and fuel availability.
- Regulatory & Subsidy Navigation: Stay abreast of regional carbon credits, emissions standards, and government subsidies to provide consultative financial advantages to clients.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 7+ years of experience in industrial sales, specifically within power generation, heavy machinery, or renewable energy.
Technical Depth: A strong understanding of gaseous engine technology (Spark-ignited engines) and fuel systems (PNG/ Biogas/ LNG/LPG/Hydrogen/Ammonia etc.).
Sales Acumen: Proven track record of hitting multi-million dollar annual quotas and managing long-cycle, complex technical sales.
Communication: Ability to translate complex thermodynamic or chemical efficiencies into clear business value for non-technical buyers.
Travel: Willingness to travel up to 15 days within the region to visit sites and meet with key accounts.
Preferred Attributes
Established network within the regional energy or construction sectors.
Familiarity with hybrid microgrid systems (combining gensets with solar/BESS).
A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Energy Engineering is highly preferred.
