About the Role
This is a strategic leadership role designed to bridge the gap between cutting-edge R&D and market-ready solutions.
You will lead the technical consulting and solution architecture for our New Energy portfolio, which includes Solar PV, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Green Hydrogen Electrolysers, Fuel Cell (FC) Gensets, and integrated Balance of Plant (BoP) systems.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Technical Strategy
Lead the design and configuration of integrated energy solutions (Hybrid Microgrids) combining Solar, BESS, and Hydrogen technologies.
Develop customized technical proposals for complex industrial and utility-scale projects, ensuring optimal efficiency and ROI for clients.
Oversee the technical selection of Balance of Plant (BoP) components, ensuring seamless integration with core equipment like electrolysers and fuel cells.
Strategic Bid Management
Direct the technical response for high-value RFPs and Tenders, ensuring all compliance, safety, and performance standards are met.
Conduct detailed techno-commercial feasibility studies, including LCOE (Levelized Cost of Energy) and LCOH (Levelized Cost of Hydrogen) modeling.
Collaborate with the Sales team to define “Value-Engineered” propositions that differentiate from global competitors.
Market & Product Intelligence
Act as the technical voice of the customer; provide feedback to R&D and Product Management teams to influence the roadmap for products.
Stay abreast of global trends in Green Hydrogen, long-duration energy storage, and evolving grid regulations.
Conduct competitive benchmarking to ensure “New Energy” offerings remain at the forefront of the industry.
Stakeholder & Partner Management
Establish and maintain relationships with EPC partners, technology providers, and regulatory bodies.
Provide technical training and mentorship to the regional sales and application engineering teams.
Represent at industry forums and technical seminars as a subject matter expert.
Desired Profile
Technical Expertise:
Deep Domain Knowledge: Proven experience in Solar PV (On-grid/Off-grid) and BESS (Lithium-ion/Flow batteries).
Hydrogen Specialist: Strong understanding of Electrolyser technologies (PEM/Alkaline/AEM) and Fuel Cell applications.
Systems Integration: Expert-level knowledge in power electronics (Inverters/PCS) and Energy Management Systems (EMS).
Experience & Education:
Education: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering. An MBA or a Master’s in Renewable Energy/Sustainability is highly preferred.
Experience: 12 to 15 years of experience in Pre-Sales, Application Engineering, or Technical Consulting, with at least 5 years specifically in the Renewable or New Energy sector.
Leadership: Proven track record of managing technical teams and winning multi-million dollar projects.
Soft Skills:
Exceptional presentation and communication skills (ability to simplify complex technical concepts for C-suite executives).
A “pioneer” mindset—comfortable navigating the ambiguity of a nascent but rapidly growing market.
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
